Tagged Again!

Ahem
*taps mic*
Is this thing on?
*mic statics and screeches then everything falls quiet*
*There's a cough from somewhere in the audience*
Oh, hello everyone. Tis I once again.
Long time no see, eh?

Well after almost a month of silence, I have returned!
*crickets*
*random person in the audience yells "woo!"*
Ah ha, thank you...random person.
Anywho! I have been tagged, not once, but twice!
So I have decided to combine the tags, and see what I can do about answering the questions.

On to Tag #1!

Awesome Blogger Tag

Rules:

Thank the person/blogger who nominated you.

Thanks, Rakayle!

Tag your post with #awesome blogger award

Tagged! (Or..."labeled"...I'm not sure what tagging is, exactly...)

Answer all the questions given to you

I shall get to that, forthwith!

Nominate at least 5 bloggers and inform them of their nomination, and give them 10 new questions to answerRight, I will endeavor to find some folks to tag!
Now, onto the questions...

#1. What are the reasons you wouldn't finish reading a book?

My reasons for not finishing a book are as follows:

      a. I got too busy and have yet to return to it

      b. I lost interest. It can honestly be the most exciting part of the book, but if my attention is diverted from it, I can leave off reading for days, weeks, or even months.

      c. The book was due back at the library and I was too lazy to re-order it.

#2. Would you live in a land made of candy?

Ew...no thanks. Just think about the ant problem you would have! Not to mention the cavities...Plus, I don't even like candy all that much, so...
Now if you had proposed a chocolate world...my answer might be a bit different. ;)
#3. Has the reason you started blogging changed? Why do you do it now?
Hmm...not really. I started this blog to promote my writing, and to get to know my readers. I've enjoyed it thus far!

#4. Detectives or spies?
Definitely detectives. Private Detectives especially!
Spies are cool too though...
Ooo, how about a detective spy? Yes, yes that would do nicely, thank you.

#5. One book you like in a genre you don't like?
Hmm...I don't think I've really read a book in a genre I didn't like.
Romance is probably the only genre I've read that I really don't care for.
"Within These Lines" by Stephanie Morrill was pretty good, considering it's a romance. I liked the story line.

#6. What do you love about blogging?
It's fun, and I get to "meet" lots of cool people!

7. One YouTube channel you recommend?
Just one...Well, I might have gone with Blimey Cow, but I suppose that one is a popular recommendation... So perhaps I'll go with...
Taryn Harbridge's YouTube Channel.
She's a super talented musician who arranges and plays Hymns, Popular Movie Soundtracks, and others on multiple instruments. A lot of her songs have a Celtic feel to them.
Her main instrument is the Violin, but she plays the Tin Whistle, Piano, Guitar, Accordion, Drums, the Tambourine...and puts all the videos of herself playing the instruments together to make fantastic music videos.
They're super cool to watch, and amazing to listen to!

#8. When writing do you listen to lyric music or instrumental?

Definitely instrumental. Classical, or Ambient music is my favorite to listen to. Sometimes Movie Soundtracks; but they get distracting sometimes, especially if I'm familiar with the movie.
#9. Book of the Bible that you like to read the most?
Proverbs. It's so wonderful, and full of such wisdom! Though that could be said for all of the books of the Bible...
If it wasn't Proverbs, I'd go Romans. Or James. 1 John is amazing too though...Then there's always Job...
Ah, I'm gonna say my favorite book is...the Bible. ;)

#10. Do you like vintage?
Love it!
Now "vintage" generally ranges between the 1940's and 1960's, it seems.
Those are great eras for clothes, hats, music especially, and the like. Some of my favorites!
Some days, I enjoy "taking vintage to a whole new level", and by that, I mean the 1840's. Or even the 1810's. I have handmade my own 1840's, and 1810's dresses.
Dressing in different eras of time is such fun. I enjoy it immensely.

Well that was positively smashing! Thanks again for tagging me, Rakayle!
Here are the lovelies I have decided to tag:

Your questions:
1. What is your favorite recreational sport?
2. Which book of the Bible has the most inspiration for you?
3. What is your favorite instrument? (To play, or listen to.)
4. What's the best book you've read this year?
5. Favorite TV show? (Or movie, if you don't watch tv shows!)
6. Singing, or plotting World Domination (or...just a book plot) in the Shower?
7. Coffee, or Hot Cocoa?
8. War Spy, or Private Consulting Detective?
9. Historical Dress Up Masquerade Party! You're choices range from 1800 to 1900. Which decade of outfit would you choose, and why?
10. What makes a book rate 5 stars, for you?

Right, that was such fun! Now on to the next tag...

The 10 Book Questions Tag

The Rules:
-Thank the person who nominated you.
Thanks for tagging me, Kaitlyn!

-Answer the questions you were asked.
On to that momentarily...

-Nominate at least 5 bloggers.
Five more??

-Give them 10 questions to answer!
Ohh...I'll try!
The Questions:
1. What are three of your favorite book covers?
Is one allowed to have one's own book under a favorite?
Because...
I wuvs this cover:

I love this cover, it's so mysterious, and plain brilliant!
I'm just dying to get my hands on a copy of this beauty!

And another book I've yet to read, but absolutely love the cover!
The watercolory theme, the lighting! It's breathtaking.

2. What is one of your favorite book series?
Hands down, the Baker Family Adventures!
The books only get better with each new addition.

3. Do you prefer new books or the classics?
In general, classics are my favorite. You can't beat a good old Dickens, A.L.O.E., or Shakespeare!

4. What is your least favorite book cover?

So the book itself was cool, as it is a play.

But the cover is a bit...boring.

5. On your physical bookshelf, what is the 17th book in line (if you have that many)?Counting from left to right, the 17th book in line on my shelf is this:

A really fascinating read. Definitely recommend this!

6. What is your favorite genre to read? If historical, which era?

I like just about everything published by Lamplighter Publishing. They're books written in the 1800's and 1900's. They're all really great!

7. Do you prefer paperbacks or ebooks?

Paperbacks, hands down! Though I like leather-bound hardbacks the best.

8. Do you prefer matte or glossy covers?
I think I prefer glossy. Matte is okay, but I don't like the texture of it. If that makes any sense...
Though my favorite is the faux leather, almost soft-and-squishy-hard covers.

9. What is a book on your shelf that you'll probably never read?

Mm, I'm gonna have to say...this book:

I have gleaned a bit from it, but it certainly isn't a book I'm going to read through.

10. In your opinion, what object or color just really improves a cover?

Silhouettes. I love silhouettes; they make a cover so much more intriguing!

Okay, so I actually don't really know who else to tag...
So don't shoot me...but I'm just going to do the blogger-tag-cop-out, and say:
"If you think it would be fun, consider yourself tagged!"
I like the questions I answered, so if you grab this tag, answer the previous questions. :)

Whew, this was a fun post!
It's been a while since I posted, I hope ya'll enjoyed reading my answers!

~What's your favorite cover of the three I mentioned as my favorites?~
~Do you prefer chocolate, or candy?~

Thanks for reading,

God bless!
